Sister Press
Sister Press is a small letterpress studio founded by Polly Nisbett. Using the traditional process of letterpress printing we create work that is contemporary, considered and of our time. Celebrating and focussing on the modesty and beauty of the letterpress printing process, we pay thoughtful attention to detail. Carefully sourced, finest papers and inks combine to celebrate work of the highest calibre of a now endangered craft.
Kind to our world, wanting to minimise waste and using no more than we need, we are mindful to use recycled and sustainable materials wherever we can. Our equipment and tools have been restored or previously used and the press is powered by hand and foot. All orders are cut, printed, finished and packaged in house by hand. The letterpress printed piece is a thing of timeless beauty and simplicity.
